Eungella Hub Frequently Asked Questions

Welcome to our Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) page, designed to provide you with quick and informative answers to common queries about the Eungella Hub and our Online Booking System. Whether you're curious about BYO alcohol or booking cancelations, you're likely to find the information you need right here.   • Is there a projector and screen?
    We regret to inform you that we do not provide a projector and screen as part of our standard offerings. However, we encourage you to explore other local rental options or consider bringing your own equipment to enhance your event's audiovisual experience.
  • Is there a TV or multimedia available?
    Currently, we do not provide TV or multimedia equipment at the Eungella Hub. If you require such equipment for your event, we recommend making arrangements to bring your own.
  • Are there speakers and/or microphone available?
    Regrettably, we do not provide speakers or microphones as part of our standard offerings. If you require these audio equipment for your event, we recommend making arrangements to bring your own or sourcing them independently to ensure your audio needs are met.
  • Is there catering services?
    There are 2 local catering businesses that provide catering for the Eungella Hub. Cafe Eden provide tea, coffee, lunch and refreshments. Cafe Eden can be contacted by emailing edenhillseungella@outlook.com Jo's Catering provides evening meals and catering for large events. Jo's Catering can be contacted by emailing jo83@mail.com or calling 0447 175 592.
  • Is there a bar?
    A licensed bar service is provided by ECDA which includes bar staff, payment services (cash and EFTPOS) as well as custom drink packages catered to your specific requirements. To arrange a bar service for your event, please email ecda@eungella.com.au after you have made your event booking.
  • Can you BYO alcohol?
    Yes, you are welcome to BYO alcohol for your event at the Eungella Hub if you are providing it to your guests for free. Please note that it is your responsibility to make arrangements for storing your beverages, such as eskies or cold rooms. If you do not intend to use the ECDA bar service and plan to sell alcohol at your event, it's important to be aware that you will need to obtain a liquor license in compliance with our Terms and Conditions of Hire. According to our policy, the sale of liquor on the premises is not allowed unless the hirer obtains the necessary permit from the appropriate authority. You can find more information about obtaining a liquor permit at http:www.olgr.qld.gov.au/industry/liquor_licensing/liquor_permits/index.shtml . This ensures that your event is both enjoyable and conducted in accordance with all legal requirements.
  • How to avoid additional charges
    In the interest of ensuring a smooth and cost-effective experience, we kindly ask that you familiarise yourself with our Terms and Conditions of Hire, which are available for your reference by clicking here. Specifically, section 10.3 of the Terms and Conditions of Hire states: "Waste and wheelie bins must be left clean and tidy. Any waste not able to fit into the allocated bin must be removed by the Hirer. DO NOT place bags of rubbish on the ground adjacent to the bin. Hirers will incur a removal fee if they fail to remove their waste. Food scraps, recycling, and general waste must be disposed of into the correct bins. Do not put food scraps into the recycling or general waste bins. Failure to comply will result in additional charges." We greatly appreciate your cooperation in maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of the venue. This ensures a pleasant experience for all and helps us continue to offer competitive rates.
  • Can I change the date of my booking?
    Yes, you can change the date of your booking, provided that the duration of your booking remains the same and the Eungella Hub is available on the desired dates. We understand that plans can change, and we'll do our best to accommodate your needs within these parameters. Please email ecda@eungella.com.au to discuss the availability and arrange a suitable alternative date for your event.
  • Can I cancel my booking?
    Absolutely, you can cancel your booking; however, we kindly request that any cancellation for the hire of the Hub be made in writing at least seven (7) days prior to the scheduled date of hire. For cancellations made within seven (7) days prior to the date of hire or in the case of a 'no-show,' a cancellation fee equal to the full hired amount will be applicable. To initiate a cancellation, please submit your request in writing via email to ecda@eungella.com.au. We appreciate your understanding of our cancellation policy, which helps us manage bookings effectively and serve our community's needs efficiently.
  • Will I get an invoice for my booking?
    Yes, you will get a receipt of your payment, as well as an invoice. A receipt of your payment will be emailed to you from Eungella.info shortly after you have made a booking. You will also be emailed an invoice from Eungella.info within 5 business days after you have made a booking.
  • Can I make a booking without making a payment?
    No, bookings can not be made without making a payment. Payments must be made at the time of making a booking. This helps us ensure that the Eungella Hub is available to everyone that wants to hire the space and that bookings are genuine.
